The blood and the prayer stone

The blood and the prayer stone

He wept and dripped the blood that endlessly absorbs our sins upon His prayer stone/
the only thing that stood awake with Him as He prepared His soul for a three day departure/
His twelve/ they slept and could not be kept awake/ they were tired for what reason no one could know/
We slide our fingers and eyes over scriptures revering their sanctity and regarded Holy by men of faith/
We kneel and wait for our wishes to be answered from somewhere in the cosmos/ however, we always look up/
Our father knows but makes us wait for patience is the key to penance and paradise and peace and/
Glory flows from within His face/ His grace it covers sins like snow white and the seven dwarfs sing a song of jubilee/
If only they did exist to portray the words I writ to make them true/ maybe this isn't up to me/ maybe it's up to you...

(This piece discusses the end moments of Christ's life on earth and how it's up to us to spread His word.)
