The One and only rose

The bright light and fluffy snow flakes gently fall upon a rose/ and though it's cold/ it continues to grow/ and show it's brilliant blood red pedals/ ice soft and slowly dripping forms a thin and delicate layer upon it's skin/ preserving the precious life within/ encased in brilliant sparkling water crystals/ she's the envy of the garden and ivy bows beside her/ a spectacle of awe and wonder from mother nature/ The Lord looks upon His rose and smiles and gently melts the ice in neat ice piles/ Now spring has come and her peers listen closely to the story of the One the Lord chose to show His glory...

[this piece is about a rose created by God who is a metaphor for Christ and what He went through for us]
