Red leaves and the natural order

Red leaves and the natural order

Red leaves bleeding from the trees/ a sea of cascading colors crashing to the earth like meteors/ their truth cannot be drawn with words/ our mind can be a scary
world where monsters lurk in hidden nerves/ we reap and sow what we deserve/ we serve the servants/ and clothe the rich with pity/ we throw the prosperous in caves
and raise the homeless from their graves/ please erase our past disgrace/ throughout the years within our races/ an endless sea of empty faces/ hopeful souls/ their faith is bogus/ to work and worship God/ a life of purpose/ to seek the lost our only focus/ He heals disease like hokus pokus/ college students/ consuming mochas/ a busy caffeine consuming body/ bus rides and myspace/ the hot girl/ the next rave/ the lonely girl date raped/ the punk rocker who od's his way to an early grave/ the fraternity leader living in the past forever/ working for the nerds he used to torture/ nothing trumps the universe's natural order/

(This piece describes the chaotic world of young adults in college.)
